Mercy Housing Lakefront is one of Mercy Housing’s newest and largest business centers. In 2006, Mercy Housing Midwest merged with Lakefront Supportive Housing in Chicago to create Mercy Housing Lakefront.
Today, Mercy Housing Lakefront is made up of more than 1,400 homes serving more than 2,000 residents with an average annual income of $10,395. Most of Mercy Housing Lakefront’s properties are in the Chicago area.
Mercy Housing Lakefront also features supportive, single-unit occupancy housing, where people who were formerly homeless can gain the skills and support they need to stabilize and improve their lives. Supportive housing is a model that Lakefront Supportive Housing mastered and that Mercy Housing plans to spread throughout the country.
We are proud to serve our residents and the communities in Illinois, Ohio and Wisconsin, and we remain committed to changing lives and revitalizing neighborhoods by providing safe, quality, service-enriched housing.
